Newark Regional Business Partnership | Newark, NJ Newark’s Prudential Center, home of the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils and host to some of today’s most popular sports and entertainment events, has welcomed more than 9 million visitors since its opening in October 2007. NRBP’s affiliate, Renaissance Newark Foundation, coordinated the initial feasibility studies for a downtown arena throughout the mid 1990’s and NRBP remains a stalwart supporter of the Newark Downtown Core Redevelopment Plan. New restaurants and the first new downtown hotels in more than four decades have been built on Broad Street. The success of the Prudential Center and related businesses has inspired significant new renovation of older buildings in the arena district which is bringing residential life to the spaces above new street level retail.

Newark Regional Business Partnership | Newark, NJ NRBP was a founder of the Amtrak Business Coalition (now the Northeast Alliance for Rail), a coalition comprised of major business organizations from Boston to Washington, D.C. which continues to advocate for investments to promote a state of good repair on the Northeast Corridor (NEC) and a vision for high speed rail service.
