Corporations, professionals, small businesses, universities and not-for-profits join NRBP to gain access to people and information, increase their organization’s visibility and support NRBP’s efforts to enhance the region’s economic competitiveness.

Membership in NRBP should be viewed as an investment in the future growth of your organization and the progress of Newark. To derive the greatest benefit, companies diversify their presence and representatives commit time by attending events and interacting with fellow members.

We are proud of our diverse membership roster and consistently refer callers to the products and services available from our members. Additionally, NRBP assists its members by recommending resources to respond to a wide range of dilemmas from regulatory solutions to business challenges.

The dues investment in NRBP is based on factors beginning with employee census in the NY/NJ region and including type of company, industry classification and comparable companies.

Member benefits include:

  • Dozens of opportunities each year to network with business and civic leaders that foster long-lasting business relationships among members with connections to valuable resources through NRBP’s professional staff and Ambassadors
  • Frequent events designed to keep members up to date on projects, trends and initiatives that are creating economic opportunity in the greater Newark region
  • Dialogue with government officials at the local, state and federal level to advance initiatives that create a more competitive Newark region
  • A seat at the table with the region’s strongest advocate for economic growth
  • Event speaking and sponsorship opportunities
  • Complimentary web listings
  • Promotion of member companies through blogs, web posts, social media and other communication channels
  • Member business highlights in print and electronic communications that are distributed to more than 3,000 NRBP business, government and non-profit organization representatives
  • Member discounts and purchasing opportunities

Membership becomes effective the first day of the month in which the dues investment is received. Membership is considered continuous unless cancelled in writing. Subsequent years’ dues will be billed during the quarter of the anniversary month. Dues are not a charitable deduction for federal tax purposes.
