Renaissance Newark Foundation (RNF)

RNF is NRBP’s 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate that supports the organization’s economic development efforts through educational programs, research and activities that promote Newark’s revitalization. The foundation played a significant role in the early research for a Newark sports arena (Prudential Center); helped to lead the establishment of Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau; supported the making and screening of several Newark focused documentaries (Revolution’67, The Rule, and RUST); and ran the Newark Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), an intense, targeted after-school program for a group of Newark middle and high school students who start a real business.

​Financial support for these initiatives is provided by the Partners and Leaders Dinner, Annual Golf Outing at Roxiticus Golf Club; grant-making foundations and tax deductible contributions.
